The proceedings of the 30th Executive Council of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) began on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. This major meeting was held under the enlightened leadership of Mr. Cléophas Barore, Chairman of the Executive Council.

During these sessions, the council addressed crucial topics for the future and development of the Union. The agenda included an in-depth discussion on the life of the AUB, encompassing the review of the Union’s financial report.

A meticulous evaluation was also conducted on completed projects, those currently underway, and those in prospective, to ensure effective strategic planning.

Important discussions also focused on the construction and strengthening of the AUB, as well as matters related to the accession of new members.

The AUB Executive Council was composed of representatives from #Guinea, #Algeria, #Cameroon (represented), #Rwanda, #Botswana, #CôtedIvoire, #Senegal, and the #LabelTV group.

The AUB meetings in Abidjan will continue tomorrow with the solemn opening of the 16th General Assembly.
